The Cougars, led by head coach Todd Eastin, finished the regular season 32-23 overall and 22-16 in the ACCAC Division I standings to earn the No. 4 seed in the ACCAC Region I Division I playoffs.
The Cougars travel to No. 1 seed Central Arizona for a best-of-three series May 2-4 in Coolidge, Ariz.. Thursday, May. 2 and Friday, May. 3, start at 2 p.m., and Saturday, May 4, begins at noon (if necessary). Fans making the trip to Coolidge must pay admission for all games.
Update: The Cougars won 14-6 in game one on May 2! Sophomore Wylie Waters, who earned First Team All-Region I Division I and All-ACCAC honors, finished 3 for 4 with two runs and four RBIs, and sophomore Karsen Waslefsky hit a two-run home run and finished 3 for 5! Sophomore Nikolas Miller earned the win on the mound with eight solid innings of work and six strikeouts.
