Orange Shirt Day exists as a legacy of the SJM project and is an annual event signifying the time of year when Indigenous children were historically taken from their homes to residential schools.
We will be honoring this important date tomorrow, on Sept 28!
Pick up a FREE orange SMCC T-shirt in front of the American Indian Student Center, from 11 am – 1pm! The AISC is attached to the Student Union, in the center of the campus.
