South Mountain Community College would like to congratulate the SMCC 2025 All-Arizona Academic Team for being great examples as students and community members.
All-Arizona honorees demonstrate academic excellence and intellectual tenacity combined with leadership and service that expand their education beyond the classroom to benefit their communities and society. Each is working toward an associate’s degree, maintains a GPA of 3.5 or higher (4.0 scale) and involved in volunteer opportunities in their college campus and community.
We are proud of Jeslyn Vargas Crapio and Delina Hadish for being selected and earning the opportunity for tuition waivers and scholarships!
Meet the Honorees:
Jeslyn Vargas Crapio currently attends South Mountain Community College. She plans to transfer to Arizona State University, specifically the W. P. Carey School of Business, where she aims to earn a Master’s degree in Accounting. Her career goal is to become a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and work for a global accounting firm, assisting businesses in maintaining financial transparency and achieving their financial objectives.
Jeslyn is a work-study student in the Office of Student Life and Leadership. She serves as the Vice President of Service for Phi Theta Kappa and the Vice President of Finance for DECA. She is also actively involved as a Food Drive Volunteer. Jeslyn has been recognized on the President's List, is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, and has received the President's Honors Scholarship.
Delina Hadish is a student at South Mountain Community College, majoring in Computer and Information Technology. She plans to transfer to Arizona State University to earn a degree in Cybersecurity. Her career goal is to work as a cybersecurity analyst, helping organizations protect themselves from online threats.
At SMCC, Delina serves as the security officer of Phi Theta Kappa and volunteers with St. Mary’s Food Bank, participating in food boxing and other community activities. She is also a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and the Honors Program. Her personal hashtag is #DrivenToSucceed.
