Four SMCC Phi Theta Kappa officers—Jeslyn, Delina, Nyssa, and Cassandra—had the incredible opportunity to attend Catalyst 2025 in Kansas City, Missouri.
Representing South Mountain Community College with pride and professionalism, these student leaders immersed themselves in workshops and sessions focused on leadership development, networking, and career growth. Throughout the conference, they engaged with students from across the nation and gained valuable insight into how PTK membership can open doors and accelerate their academic and professional journeys.
A highlight of the trip was when Jeslyn and Cassandra met Shade Magare, KPMG’s Next Gen Capital Builder. Shade personally encouraged them to pursue internship opportunities with KPMG, recognizing their potential as future accountants and trailblazers in the field.
This experience not only expanded their networks but also reaffirmed the power of PTK to elevate student success and leadership potential. We’re incredibly proud of Jeslyn, Delina, Nyssa, and Cassandra for their dedication and for representing SMCC with excellence!
