SMCC Student Services Supervisor Ralph D. Thompson II, Appointed to South Mountain Village Planning Committee

South Mountain Village welcomes Ralph D. Thompson II, a Student Services Supervisor with South Mountain Community College, as its newest member of the South Mountain Village Planning Committee. Thompson was officially appointed and sworn in on March 5, 2025, in a ceremony led by Mayor Kate Gallego at the Phoenix City Council Chambers.

The South Mountain Village Planning Committee plays a crucial role in shaping the community's future by advising the City of Phoenix on zoning, land use, and development plans that impact the area. Thompson’s appointment reflects his dedication to civic engagement and his commitment to the growth and well-being of the South Mountain Village community.
