Intro
Strategic planning is a vital, continuous commitment that guides the success of South Mountain Community College.
Our strategic plan forms the basis for all activities undertaken by the college in pursuit of its mission, and prioritizes and assigns the resources needed to implement them.
The Strategic Plan includes strategic directions and institutional priorities for a three-year cycle. The strategic planning model is influenced by the college’s long-term and operational planning, as well as internal initiatives and external trends impacting the college.
On an annual basis each fall, we engage divisions and departments from across the college in action planning workshops. Through these events, we identify accomplishments and set new goals for the year that align with the college’s strategic direction and priorities.
