Intro
Strategic Enrollment Management is an essential process at South Mountain Community College, guided by the college vision, mission and values. The Strategic Enrollment Management Plan (SEMP) was developed using Appreciative Inquiry and is the tangible result of this process.
The Strategic Enrollment Management Plan represents the collaborative initiatives and efforts of the College. The goal of the plan is to positively impact student recruitment, persistence, transfer and graduation. With student success as the foundation, the plan also seeks to meet the needs of the institution, maintain educational quality, and achieve enrollment goals. The plan also takes into account funding support, District initiatives, environmental trends and demographic changes.
Ultimately, the Strategic Enrollment Management Plan enables the College to develop strategies that respond to the needs of the communities we serve and utilize resources effectively.
