The Maricopa Student Senate (MSS) is a student representative body of the Maricopa County Community College District (MCCCD) and is comprised of a senator from each of the 10 colleges. The functions are:

To advocate for the common interests of all MCCCD students to share student achievements and concerns with their fellow students, the Governing Board, Chancellor, colleges, administrators, and the community.
Student senators take on the challenging and fulfilling duty of addressing student issues, as well as representing their student constituencies.
As voting members of the Senate, senators provide for the welfare and betterment of all Maricopa students. In this leadership position, senators allow the student voice to be heard!
The MSS proudly provides opportunities for student’s growth and development as a leader.
